According to Feeding America, nearly 167,000 of the 1.3 million people living in Maine are meal insecure, and of them, 44,520 are children. 1 in 6 of Maine’s youth do not have enough to eat.

The Stroudwater Food Pantry (SFP) is a registered hunger relief agency with the Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine. Our mission is to feed those who are hungry and to reduce the number of meal insecure within the Greater Portland Community and throughout Southern Maine. In 2021 SFP distributed 105 tons of groceries to families in need.
