Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 9/15/19

Hi Team – This was a very busy weekend for your Stroudwater Food Pantry; we served 49 families and provided groceries to a total of 145 people.  9 new families joined the pantry this week.

A colossal amount of food was processed this week!  Our supermarket food rescue pickups totaled 3,660 lbs., plus our purchases from Good Shepherd totaled another 1,332 lbs.  Additionally, Orchard Ridge Farm in Gorham donated 90 dozen eggs!  Volunteers transported, unloaded, weighed, bagged, sorted eggs into cartons, and put away 2 ½ tons of food!  This week’s teammates who accomplished all this included Anna, Anne, Cat, Debbie, Jean, Lois, Nick, Nicki, Phil, Rena, Steve, Tammy and myself.
