Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 8/1/21

Hi Team – For the week ending 8/1 your Stroudwater Food Pantry served 67 families and provided groceries to a total of 132 people.  Four new households joined the food pantry this week.

Our supermarket food rescue pickups, food donations and purchases totaled 3,341lbs.  Volunteers for this week included Adam, Amy & Jake, Angie, Dennis, Gary, Kelly, Laura, Karlene, Martha & Al, Michelle, Wayne L, Zack and myself.

We closed out July as the second busiest month for food processed so far this year; 20,064lbs – 10 tons of food distributed, with 2 ½ tons of it going to Washington County.  Thank you everyone who volunteered this month in a Herculean effort that lifted the welfare of meal insecure families in southern and central Maine! — Doug
