Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 7/23/17

Hi Team – Your Stroudwater Food Pantry served 35 families this week, for a total of 100 people receiving groceries.  4 new families joined us this week.

Sunday’s supermarket rescue food pickups, plus church donations and this week’s purchased food yielded 2,329 lbs.  This week’s volunteers included Anne, Karlene,  Autumn W, Michael C, Steve,  Adam, Jenn, Tina, Terry and myself.

We had another whopping week processing a high volume of food – 1.1 tons in total, half of which was fresh fruit and vegetables.  This reflects the seasonal highs and lows of our food intake and processing efforts – Praise the Lord for the abundance of food we are blessed with this summer, it is used to good purpose to bless those whom we serve even more!  —  Doug
