Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 7/30/17

Hi Team – It was a very busy week this week as your Stroudwater Food Pantry served 51 families, providing groceries to a total of 188 people, more than any other week so far this year.  11 new families joined us this week.

Sunday’s supermarket rescue food pickups, plus church donations and this week’s purchased food yielded 1,727 lbs.  This week’s volunteers included Karlene, Autumn W, Michael C, Steve,  Adam, Jenn, Sarah W, Angie and myself.

We close out July as our busiest month so far this year; we picked up, processed and fed 6 tons of food to 605 people.  The enormity of was what accomplished this month was achieved only by the dedicated commitment and compassion of the volunteers of your Stroudwater Food Pantry, without whom there would be no hunger relief ministry.  Your volunteers embody the meaning and Spirit of Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry, and you feed me.”  Thank you, and God Bless you all!  —  Doug
