Hi Team – After averaging 51 families each Sunday for the past three weeks, things finally slowed down a bit this past weekend for your Stroudwater Food Pantry. We served 34 families, providing groceries to a total of 107 people this week. 5 new families joined the pantry.
We picked up and processed over a ton of food this past Friday, including a bonanza of milk and eggs, which strengthened our commitment to provide as broad a selection of grocery offerings as we can to our clients. Volunteers for this week included Anna, Cat, Debbie, Gary, Greg, Jean, Karlene, Laura, Nicki, Phil, Rena, and Steve. Thank you everyone who volunteered this week! — Doug
PLEASE NOTE – Our fourth annual distribution of Thanksgiving dinner baskets will be on Tuesday, November 20th. SAVE THE DATE if you wish to volunteer for that day! We will build 25 or more dinner baskets in the morning, then distribute more than 100 in the afternoon. The exact timing of the day is still TBD, so stay tuned for further updates!
