Hi Team – Yesterday your Stroudwater Food Pantry served 34 families, providing groceries to a total of 106 people this week. 7 new families joined the pantry.
Our supermarket fresh rescue food pickups, outside donations, and purchased foods totaled 3,062 lbs. this past Friday. Volunteers for this week included Anna, Anne, Cat, Debbie, Dee Dee, Greg, Jean, Laura, Michael, Nicki, Phil, Rena, Steve, Venna and myself.
Our fourth annual distribution of Thanksgiving dinner baskets will be on Tuesday, November 20th. We are collecting frozen turkeys (12-20lbs) to build dinner baskets with; if you would like to donate one or two turkeys, please bring them to the church between 9-12noon on Sunday the 18th. And SAVE THE DATE if you wish to volunteer for the 2oth! We need volunteers for:
