Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 7/28/19

Hi Team – This was a busy week at your Stroudwater Food Pantry!  On Sunday the 28^th we served 50 families and provided groceries to a total of 110 people.  14 new families joined the pantry this week.

Our supermarket food rescue pickups and food donations totaled 4,373 lbs.  Volunteers for this week included, Angie, Anna & Vena, Cat, Carol, Debbie, Karlene, Lois, Michelle, Nicki, Phil, Rena, Sandra, Steve, and myself.

This week we processed a colossal amount of food, almost 2 ¼ tons. This was largely due to our bimonthly TEFAP food pickup on Thursday, as part of our USDA allocation. A special thank you to the folks who showed up on Thursday to unload and put away all the food, and to everyone who volunteered this week!   — Doug
