Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 2/28/21

Hi Team – It was a very busy week ending 2/28, as your Stroudwater Food Pantry served 97 families and provided groceries to a total of 241 people.  56 of the families received groceries through our Last Mile home delivery program.  6 new families joined the pantry this week.

Our supermarket food rescue pickups, food donations and purchases totaled 4,746 lbs.  Volunteers for this week included Adam, Amy & Jake VP, Amy & Lila & Clare, Angie, Chad, Dennis, Gary, Jean, Kelly, Laura, Marcie, Michelle, and myself. 

This week we served groceries to 97 families, our busiest week so far this year.  We closed out February having provided 330 families a staggering amount of food.  Pantry volunteers spent 252 hours picking up and processing food, and building grocery boxes, to make the lives of those 330 families brighter and more meal secure.  Thank you everyone who volunteered this month, and God Bless you all! — Doug
