Hi Everyone –It was a busy week at your Stroudwater Food Pantry, on Sunday we served 40 families, providing groceries to a total of 114 people. 5 new families joined the pantry. What happened this week:
- On Tuesday we concluded our three week food drive with Charter Communications. Charter has been a terrific partner with us since our inception, and on Tuesday Lois and I drove over to their offices to pick up their donation. This year they collected 778 units of food that weighed in at 513 lbs. Thank you Charter Communications for your great donation and long term commitment to Stroudwater Food Pantry!
- Our Church Family Donation for this past Sunday was jelly, and we received 73 lbs. this week! Thank you Church Family for your continued support of your Stroudwater Food Pantry!
- Our 3 Friday supermarket pickups totaled 3,268 lbs., our biggest supermarket donation in the history of the Stroudwater Food Pantry! Combined with the donations above, the amount of food processed was 3,845, nearly 2 tons of food!
- This week’s volunteers included Adam, Anne, Autumn, Dot, Ellen, Jenn, Jean, Lois, Michael C., Mike H., Rena, and Steve. Thank you all who volunteered this week!
