Stroudwater Food Pantry Status – 12/17/17

Hi Team – This week your Stroudwater Food Pantry served 37 families, providing groceries to a total of 107 people.  2 new families joined the pantry.

Our supermarket rescue food pickups, plus church donations and this week’s purchased food yielded 1,629 lbs.  This week’s volunteers included Adam, Angie, Anna, Anne, Ellen, Jean, Karlene, Michael C, Rena, Tammy, and myself.  What’s Happening at SFP:

  • This Friday the 22nd at 1:00 SFP will distribute 17 Christmas dinner baskets to families who need a dinner for Christmas.
  • Thank you Church Family for this week’s cereal donation!  The cereal, along with other items that were donated totaled 136 lbs. of non-perishable food.
  • This week our friend Mike Curran donated a trunk load of spaghetti, sauce, and cereal that weighted in at 211 lbs.  Thank you Mike!
  • The Pantry Prayer Ministry has proven to be a blessing and physical healing for clients seeking prayer on Sundays.   On Sunday clients were healed and one client made a decision for Christ, praise the Lord!

Thank you everyone who volunteered this week, and Merry Christmas everyone!                 — Doug
